Industry Experience
David has practiced in northern Victoria for more than 30 years. He is recognized as an expert in water markets, having been heavily involved in water governance, policy development, and valuation, over decades. He has addressed several national and international conferences in relation to interpretation of water markets.
An agricultural supply chain specialist, David has particular expertise in relation to irrigation properties, including dairies, orchards, and vineyards, as well as downstream agri-industrial properties, including coolstorage/freeezer complexes, major food processing plants, and wineries. He regularly undertakes complex valuations of specialized holdings, including stockfeed mills, glasshouses, and going concern enterprise assessments. An experienced expert witness, David has given evidence in major litigation matters in several jurisdictions, including the Victorian Supreme Court.
David currently serves as a Director of Goulburn Murray Water, the largest rural water authority in Australia.
