Bret is currently the Managing Direction and Valuer of the Opteon Toowoomba firm. He specialises in client valuations and was appointed as Senior Area Valuer (Departments of Valuer-General, Lands and Natural Resources and Mines) by the Queensland Government for 22 years. 17 years of this period was based in the Darling Downs locality covering a wide range of valuation matters. As Queensland Manager – Client Valuations: responsible for the Management of Asset Valuations for the Department of Education; Department of Emergency Services, Police Department and Powerlink (Braemar Interconnector Project). Director of Opteon (Central and Southern QLD) Pty Ltd, Toowoomba Office, as of June 2002.
