Industry Experience

Angus began his valuation career in 1975 studying at the Wellington Polytechnic while working in the property divisions of an insurance company and completing residential/commercial valuations. Angus holds a Diploma in Urban Valuation from the Wellington Polytechnic where he graduated in 1979, moving to Auckland shortly after to the position of Property Manager for Commercial Union.

After periods with the National Mutual and Challenge Properties in their respective property divisions, he relocated to Nelson where he operated his own valuation practice for 15 years, specialising in residential, commercial and industrial valuations. While in Nelson he was a longstanding member of the local branch committee and was involved in many branch activities. Angus is a Senior Member of the Property Institute and an Associate of the New Zealand Institute of Valuers.

Angus joined Sheldons in 2004 as a residential valuer and now specialises in the rural/lifestyle field undertaking valuations throughout Rodney District."
