Industry Experience

William has practised as a property valuer since June 2000. Prior to that, he practised as a quantity surveyor. He has extensive experience in the valuation of a range of property types, including vacant sites suitable for both pure residential built-form and mixed-use built-form development, and is a specialist in hotel and leisure property valuations.

He has undertaken valuations of various interests in real estate, including fee simple freehold interests, leasehold interests, and freehold going concern walk in, walk out interests. William has also undertaken consulting work for a range of purposes including government agency and corporate internal decision-making purposes. This consulting work has included cost/benefit analysis and other decision-making analyses for both tenants and landlords. Further, William has undertaken scenario analyses for optimal investment in office and industrial property, as well as hotel development feasibility modelling.

In addition, William has undertaken market rental valuations for determination purposes, and has been involved in negotiation and resolution of market rental disputes, both via the determination process and outside of the determination process, on behalf of clients.
