Naomi leads Opteon’s legal team for Australia and New Zealand and is the Company Secretary of Opteon’s New Zealand group of companies.
Naomi is an energetic and experienced corporate and commercial lawyer with over 21 years’ experience who thrives on working collaboratively and pragmatically with clients to help them achieve the best possible commercial outcome.
Naomi has significant experience in the following areas: mergers and acquisitions (within Australia and internationally), joint ventures, shareholders agreements, management buy-outs, corporate restructures, corporate governance matters, funding arrangements, privacy law, data protection and security, industry-specific regulatory compliance, competition and consumer law and Intellectual Property.
Naomi started her legal career at one of the largest Australian (now global) law firms, King & Wood Mallesons, after graduating with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts from Monash University.
Naomi joined Opteon in March 2018.
