About the Role
On a day to day basis you will be responsible for providing high quality municipal valuation reports in an efficient timely manner whilst professionally representing the region. To positively contribute to the operational success of the Valuation team in providing accurate and timely municipal valuation returns, including:
General revaluations, roll maintenance and objections;
Valuations for rental assessment, asset, insurance and other purposes;
Undertaking the collection, verification and input of property data; and,
Assisting in the achievement of policies, service levels and standards
To aid in the provision of quality valuation services in an efficient manner within client service levels and standards.
Prepare and conduct valuations in accordance with Company standards, relevant legislation and professional association standards including the Property Institute of New Zealand (PINZ).
Collect sales evidence and market analysis for all valuations.
Collate and verifying property data including entering data collated into the valuation management system for general revaluations and maintenance rating valuations.
Ensure all new sales evidence is accurately entered into the sales database through our internal valuation management system.
We are seeking a driven professional with not only highly developed valuation skills but exceptional communication and business development skills. A strong client focus and commitment to personal professional development is essential together with:
Degree in Business (Property) or equivalent qualifications that is recognised by the New Zealand Valuers Registration Board.
Registered Member of PINZ
Must hold a current and clean New Zealand Driver's Licence.
Relevant and extensive industry experience.
Excellent customer service and stakeholder communication
Strive to achieve deadlines in a smooth and timely manner
Ability to work in and contribute to a harmonious team environment
