About the Role
This role is responsible for providing Operational leadership to ensure the short and long term growth and success of Opteon. This will be achieved by working with the other Regional Directors and the State Director to implement and deliver the Region's business plan. The strategic motivation for this role is to manage Valuation Operations to Gross Profit target for Region.
Key Responsibility Areas
Implement business plan for the region ensuring it is aligned with state/region plan
Manage regional goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures in conjunction with the State Director.
Provide reports to the State Director, and other key stakeholders as required.
Manage the development of a high performing and constructive culture for the region that ensures a commitment to a One Team approach and is aligned to the Core Values and Guiding Principles
Manage change management initiatives throughout the Region to ensure the organisation continues to grow and evolve with a highly skilled, willing and adaptable workforce
Support, develop and mentor direct reports ensuring that divisional objectives are communicated and implemented effectively and appropriately, and to build consistent delivery processes and standards
Implement and monitor the Region's operating budget and ensure proper budgetary controls are exercised.
Ensure compliance to all regulatory and financial obligations.
Position oneself as the point of contact for local and regional clients to ensure the business is visible within the community.
Develop professional business relationships and maintain industry network via clients, peers, agents, competitors.
2+ years key leadership skills with demonstrated ability to develop region business plan and translate this into effective operational plans
Minimum of 7 years as a Certified Practicing Valuer (Preferred)
Post-Graduate Qualification (Desirable)
Associate of the Australian Property Institute
