About the Role
The People & Culture Business Partner will provide business focused, strategic and operational HR advice and services to deliver the Vision 2021 strategy. The P&C Business Partner is responsible for partnering with a portfolio to implement and/or deploy HR strategies to meet business objectives through improved leader and employee performance and productivity. The position supports the development and delivery of a highly engaged workforce and the implementation of specific local people initiatives. The role also provides strategic advice and assistance to Executive & General Manager leadership team members with a strong focus on the critical areas of workforce planning, leadership development, talent management, change management and business improvement.
Key Responsibility Area's
Operate as a strategic partner to Opteon's leaders to identify and deliver human resources initiatives supportive of the organisations goals.
Recommend and implement strategies to engage teams with the business purpose, vision and values and align culture and behaviours.
Provide professional, business-focused HR service to a designated portfolio and build strong working relationships based on credibility and open communication. Work with the other P&C Business Partners to share good practice, ensure a broad consistency of approach, and cover for each other as necessary.
Work in partnership with senior management teams to identify the people implications of strategic and business plans and other development opportunities. Promote new ways of working and agree appropriate local-level interventions to maximise opportunities, support change and manage risk.
Analyse trends and metrics in partnership with the P&C group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
Facilitate effective workforce planning to identify the capacity and capability of the organisation to deliver its strategic objectives.
Provide professional senior level, strategic and operational HR advice on the interpretation of HR policies and procedures, employment legislation, recruitment strategies, and managing change processes, providing risk analysis to support this. Constructively challenge decisions which are not in best interest of the organisation.
Lead responsibility for the HR/people management aspects of corporate initiatives and projects as agreed with the Chief People Officer.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated and able to work independently and be part of team where the ability to be involved in HR Projects will be highly valued.
Tertiary qualifications / Diploma or Bachelors in Business or HR Management
5 years' experience working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines including Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Remuneration practices, Organisational change, Employee and industrial relations, Diversity strategies, Prformance management and Senior leader level coaching.
Some travel for work maybe required
