About the Role
A terrific opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, team player with exceptional organisational and people skills to join our growing and supportive People & Culture team. This role is varied in its functionality and will allow the right person to grow within the team. No two days are the same!
The role will include but isn't limited to:
Providing generalist HR Support to all People and culture team members (Nationally) particularly our Business Partners
Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients to help guide positive employee interactions
Provide advice to ensure the effective application of all Opteon HR policies and processes within assigned area of expertise
Highlight issues in Business Units and recommend HR solutions
Completing transactional and administrative tasks as required
People and Culture project support as required
Maintenance of the HR Inbox, HRIS and centralised electronic filing system
Reviewing and updating Opteon HR policies together with People and Culture team
Providing assistance in end to end employee lifecycle transactions and processes including Induction, On-boarding and off-boarding.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision in a highly confidential environment. A bright and positive attitude is essential and you will also have:
You have worked within HR for 3 years + and have a strong HR generalist background;
Understand and have demonstrated experience in managing all aspects of an employee lifecycle, including recruitment, remuneration practices, employment law, performance management, recognition and professional development;
Project Management experience
Demonstrate the ability to build strong stakeholder relations;
Excellent communication & customer service skills;
Work without direct supervision and use own initiative;
Excellent time management skills, ability to meet deadlines & plan ahead;
Ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances and stakeholder requirements
Strong attention to detail and demonstrated problem solving
