About the Role
The primary purpose of the Marketing & Events Coordinator is to assist in the planning and execution of internal and external marketing and Events activities.
As the Marketing & Events Coordinator you will lead specialist project activities and manage the development, implementation and monitoring of project plans and coordinate various events, as well as all events logistics both directly and in a small team. You should have substantial experience in planning and organising events, excellent computer skills, exceptionally high standard of written English and scrupulous attention to detail in all aspects of work.
Demonstrate an understanding and experience in the requirements for integrated marketing campaigns and Events
Maintain a highly developed attention to detail with a critical eye for ensuring the co-ordination and alignment of multiple campaigns with corporate style guides.
Ability to apply visual identity guidelines and style guide for corporate print and digital communications.
Assist in the creation and publication of digital media content, including social media, website and intranet
Deliver input into developing and executing internal and external communications programme to maximise brand awareness and the promotion Opteon
Track and report on marketing communications activities, including media, PR, social media and sponsorship campaigns.
Assist in the development and management of the Opteon National Conference project plan.
Working with the Marketing Manager to organise all aspects of activities in relation to the National Conference, including but not limited to; travel, dinner events, sponsorship, and client liaison.
Displays a high degree of professionalism with a strong customer service ethic.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
Excellent organisational skills, time management and attention to detail.
Self-motivated and outgoing, with the initiative and ability to achieve results independently and as part of a team.
Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with relevant internal and external stakeholders at all levels, and produce high quality materials.
Demonstrated ability to deliver and support quality presentations.
Highly developed interpersonal and networking skills.
Experience coordinating multiple projects on time and within budget
Experience in contributing ideas at both a strategic and tactical level
Strong written and verbal skills, and creative flair
Corporate communications and public relations experience considered favourably
