Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, this role will provide the marketing team with digital and graphic design support across all channels. Brand management for web and print and implementation of digital marketing campaigns are key areas of this position. The role could involve taking a simple hand-drawn scamp or an interactive wireframe and turning into a digital campaign or website layout using Photoshop and/or other Adobe creative suite software.
The key responsibilities include;
Create and design publications, brochures, newsletters, infographics and brand campaign concepts
Develop advertisements for both digital and print
Website design for corporate website redesign, intranet, customer portal and company subsidiary websites
Create and develop designs for email marketing campaigns
Assist with the management of company intranet
Assist in the management of company websites, social media channels and all digital marketing activity including SEO and SEM
Ensure all design elements created are consistent with the company brand.
Years of experience are not a prerequisite. We are looking for someone who is passionate about brand guardianship and utilising your creative and design capabilities together with your demonstrated experience. Your experience across varying project sizes and your knowledge of emerging trends and fundamentals of digital design are key.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and capabilities:
Strong experience in graphic design with a focus on digital design to deliver strong creative digital campaigns;
Experience designing for:
Social Media Platforms
BAU Artwork Update – PowerPoint / Banner Ads
Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
Working collaboratively with the team to deliver digital output of the highest quality and to brief
Experience working from scamps or, on pure design-led projects, creating a range of cross-platform design work
Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite with a detailed digital portfolio; Photoshop/Illustrator/Dreamweaver/Indesign
Understanding of marketing philosophies and practises;
Proven understanding of typography, layout, colour and grid structures
Confidence to articulate and present creative ideas/treatments to the team
A strong portfolio showcasing your experience across innovative design concepts showing your considered visual execution
Staying on track with emerging digital trends and culture, attending events and engaging with the wider digital creative community
High attention to detail
Familiarity with Google Analytics & Ad Words and SEO and SEM strategies, Intranet dashboards, eDM platform, Adobe Premier and Fireworks
The full project lifecycle – from brief and pitch to usability and build
Agency experience in designing cutting-edge websites, apps, interfaces and/or digital campaigns (including banners, microsites, emails)
